Coming all the way from Chicago, Hollywood Holt--emcee/b-boy/moped gang leader/party rocker extraordinaire--displayed intense energy at the Rickshaw Stop last week for 24Karat Milkcrate's premier event. The homey Josh from the Crate put it best: "If you measured his stage energy in electric currents, he could power the Las Vegas strip." Backed by DJ and producer Million $ Mano, he ripped through an amazing set, even premiering a new joint, "Bullshit," for his SF fans. With equally dope sets from Hopie Spitshard, who also debuted a couple new tracks, and J-Billion, along with some impromptu b-boy circles, the night was live as fuck.
