Nov. 12: Cookin' up Blogsilog, a blogging workshop by Ninoy Brown

The good homey Ninoy Brown of the infamous FobbDeep.com (and Oh Dang! contributor) will be serving up a blogging workshop for the Kalayaan School for Equity at the Liwanag Kultural Center in Daly City tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 12).

As media outlets collapse and MySpace experiences a slow death, more and more blogs will continue to pop up. In the rat race to compete for an audience, most will inevitably fall by the wayside. As a journalist and blogger, I've been asked by educators, students and artists alike about blogging and/or how to improve their blogs. I always tell then that the best thing to do is look at other successful blogs to see what works. Ninoy Brown tops the list as one my favorite bloggers for his witty humor, insightful commentary and devotion to examining race and culture, specifically his Filipino community. RSVP to learn from one of the best. Check the flyer below and get more info here.
